About the author

Charles Davis

Charles Davis was born in London and has travelled extensively in the United States, Africa and the Middle East. After a somewhat fraught trip to Timbuktu in the early '90s he decided that rambling was a simpler way of satisfying the desire to roam and settled in Spain. Here he has dedicated his free time to walking , a passion that culminated in a hike along the Pyrenees from the Atlantic to the Mediterranean. Besides his two books for Santana he has oublished walking guides to the Alpujarras, La Gomera and Andorra.
