About the author

Lorraine Cavanagh

The foothills of the Axarquia, recalling childhood years in Africa, first lured Lorraine to Andalusia some 23 years ago. Her passion for Spain and plants led her into selling on the markets, progressing to landscape gardening and setting up a much-loved and acclaimed small garden centre near Cómpeta. The writing in publications such as Costa Blanca News, Costa del Sol News and Grapevine magazine was, she says, "for quieter moments".
